Good News From the Future brings together a group of mature performers that includes pioneering physical theatre practitioners, a clutch of people who haven’t performed for a long time, and some people who’ve only recently started.
The company was formed after a series of public workshops run by founding convenor Mike Pearson in the summer of 2014, which recovered and drew on physical theatre exercises and interactive improvisation techniques developed by Cardiff-based theatre companies in the 1970s.
Its current performers include past members of Brith Gof, Cardiff Laboratory Theatre, Made in Wales, Man Act and Theatr Iolo.

CURRENT PERFORMERS: Gilly Adams, Pat Adams, Steve Bowkett, Anna Brazier, Pauline Down, Annie Grove-White, Phil Harris, Miranda James, Yvette Vaughan Jones, Lis Hughes-Jones, Jill Kirkpatrick, Kevin Lewis, Jennie Pickstone, Hilary Ramsden, Shirley Stansfield, Simon Thorne.
FORMER MEMBERS: David Alston, Hilary Beckett, Linda James; Anthony Ollmant, Elaine Paton, Maggie Valasquez, Nigel Watson, Jill Greenhalgh, Richard Huw Morgan
FOUNDING CONVENOR: Mike Pearson (1949-2022)
GNFTF is based at and supported by Chapter (Arts Centre) in Cardiff, Wales.
