Who We Are

Good News From the Future brings together a group of mature performers that includes pioneering physical theatre practitioners, a clutch of people who haven’t performed for a long time, and some people who’ve only recently started.

The company was formed after a series of public workshops run by founding convenor Mike Pearson in the summer of 2014, which recovered and drew on physical theatre exercises and interactive improvisation techniques developed by Cardiff-based theatre companies in the 1970s.

Its current performers include past members of Brith Gof, Cardiff Laboratory Theatre, Made in Wales, Man Act and Theatr Iolo.
